He knows Eliot can make a perfectly fine cup, but there is still interesting discussion happening, and the chance to see something else amazing. Sure enough, Eliot starts talking about casting something more 'robust,' and as he watches, those fascinatingly precise hand gestures eventually create a result as a sort of shimmering field emerges around him.
